What deposit is required to reserve a used Toyota?

The deposit is normally 30% of the total invoice value. This deposit is not a fee; it is applied to the vehicle price. Once received, we stop marketing the unit, complete the export inspection, and prepare the export documents. If you cancel after the deposit but before shipping, the deposit is refundable minus any actual costs already incurred, such as inspection, inland transport, or documentation. If we fail to ship the vehicle as agreed, the deposit is fully refundable. For high-demand models such as the Toyota Land Cruiser, Hilux, or Coaster, we may require the deposit within 48 hours to hold the unit, because these vehicles sell quickly in the Japanese and Dubai markets.

When is the balance due, and what payment methods do you accept?

The balance is due before the vehicle is loaded. For RoRo, this means before the vessel loading date. For container shipping, this means before the container is stuffed and sealed. We send you the proforma invoice, the vehicle inspection report, and the booking confirmation so you can verify the unit before paying the balance. We accept:

  • T/T bank transfer in USD, EUR, or CNY to our corporate account.
  • Irrevocable LC at sight for orders above USD 30,000, issued by a bank acceptable to both parties.
  • Escrow or third-party inspection payment for first-time buyers who want extra protection; we work with SGS, Bureau Veritas, or QIMA.

We do not accept cash, personal cheques, or payments to third-party accounts. All bank details are printed on the proforma invoice and confirmed by video call if needed.

Are there any hidden fees or agency commissions?

No. As a direct exporter, not an agency, we do not add agency commissions. The invoice covers the vehicle price and the shipping cost to your destination port. You may see separate charges for:

  • Inspection (JEVIC, QISJ, or destination-specific pre-shipment inspection), if required by your country.
  • Inland transport from the auction or stock yard to the port.
  • Export documentation such as the Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and export certificate.
  • Marine insurance, which we recommend for container shipments.

These are pass-through costs, not commissions. We show them as separate line items on the invoice so you can see exactly what you are paying. If you compare our quote with an agency quote, check whether the agency quote includes the vehicle price, shipping, and documents, or whether it adds a commission on top. Our price is the exporter price.

How do you protect the buyer if something goes wrong?

We use a simple three-step protection process. First, we provide the vehicle inspection report and photos before you pay the deposit. Second, we provide the Bill of Lading draft and shipping schedule before you pay the balance. Third, we send the original documents by courier with tracking, and we share the courier receipt the same day. If the vehicle is not as described, we offer a replacement or a refund of the vehicle price, minus shipping costs already incurred. For first-time buyers, we recommend using an LC or an escrow service.
